Our goal is to develop tools that help our clients to make possible the modernization of legacy systems, with reduced schedules and low costs. Keeping the existing functionalities, our approach is oriented to the technological transformation, adding processes of optimization and refactoring derived from the new platform.

Who we are

Go4IT Solutions is a spin-off of Tecnalia Research & Innovation, one of the most important applied research institutions in Europe. The Go4IT staff has been working in productivity tools for legacy systems for a decade, including model-driven engineering tools, automated legacy code modernization projects, and software factory development. We have deployed our solutions in different markets, including the financial sector, the industrial sector and the public administration.

At Go4IT Solutions we want to facilitate our customers during the modernization process. We incorporate their specific needs into our systems discovery, analysis and conversion solutions. Each installation has its own particularity that differs from the rest, based on the fact that there are no out of the box solutions that can be applied without the incorporation of this customization in each project.

Our History

  • Alight in the cloud

    May 2015 - First version of Alight in the cloud

    First version of Go4IT Alight available in the cloud and for everyone after a registration on the web. It has the main functions of legacy code discovery and its interpretation in the solution's own Pivot Language, code quality analysis, and java code generation. Likewise, Go4IT Fast tool is technologically consolidated and is also offered in the cloud. It establishes a commercial strategy supported in Tecnalia, beginning the diffusion of the solutions between the nearest clients.

  • First sales

    October 2015 - First pilot project

    Alight is deployed in the first customer in order to obtain metrics. After the successful results, the first sales were consolidated.

  • Company creation

    January 2016 - Go4IT Solutions is founded

    Creation of the company. During the first months it consolidates itself deploying Alight in modernization projects and under different platforms like Cobol, JCL, Easytrieve, Java and Visual Basic 6.

  • Team grows

    February 2017 - Our team grows

    The growth of the staff allows the collaboration in projects of greater scope assuming migrations of applications of several million lines of code. We also started looking new markets and alliances with tech partners.
